Terms and Conditions

Delivery

Upon delivery, please check the outside surface of the boxes as well as the contents inside the boxes thoroughly. If the boxes show any evidence of rough handling or appear to be punctured, crushed, dented, torn or wet, PLEASE NOTE this condition on all copies of the delivery receipt PRIOR to signing for the shipment. Then, inspect each part individually for damage. If the driver is not present at the time of your inspection, please contact us immediately by calling 877.20.GREEN, or CLICK HERE to send us a service ticket and we will assist you in obtaining a quick resolution. Unfortunately, we can only process requests of replacements within 14 days of your delivery.

In the event that your products were damaged during transit, we ask that you KEEP the original package and containers. If the driver of the delivery agent is present during delivery, we ask that you NOTE THE DAMAGE IN FULL DETAIL on the delivery receipt. Even if the package appears only slightly damaged, write "PACKAGE DAMAGED" when you sign for delivery. This is VERY important, as it aids us in providing excellent customer service to you during this unfortunate process.

As much as we try our very best to prevent damages, there will inevitably be circumstances in which this may occur and we sincerely apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you. We also greatly appreciate your help and support in helping us to remedy the situation. As you support us, you are providing GREENCulture, Inc. with the ability to guarantee your satisfaction. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

If merchandise is damaged or defective, we will arrange for repair or replacements at our discretion. Any products which do not conform to the manufacturer's specifications will be replaced at our discretion. Customer agrees to accept delivery appointments (for larger items shipping through LTL Freight carriers) for any backorders, repairs or replacement lighting to complete the order process. No merchandise may be directly returned to GREENCulture, Inc. under any circumstances.

Returns and Exchanges

When ordering lighting, please read the text description carefully to confirm exactly what is included in your order. If it appears unclear, please contact us, so that we can provide you with additional information. As all of our products are considered custom orders through the manufacturer, once an order is processed, the order cannot be canceled and cannot be returned or exchanged. We greatly appreciate your understanding! Your order is reviewed for accuracy and verified with the manufacturer as soon as it is received. In cases where manufacturers inform us of changes in availability, you will be notified as soon as possible. Such information can cause delays in your estimated shipping time.

As soon as you place your order, we begin the procurement process with the lighting vendor. Once you have placed your order, we will allow a 2 hour window in which you may cancel, update, or change your order to other merchandise without penalty. Once we have placed the order at your request, GREENCulture, Inc. and you, our customer, each become obligated to complete payment of the purchase price. For that reason, we are unable to accept cancellations, in either whole or part, once the order is placed.

In the case that exceptions to the return policy listed above are made, there will be a 35% restocking fee, and the customer will be responsible for incoming and outgoing shipping fees. These exceptions can only be made in the cases where the manufacturers which we conduct business with will allow returns back into their facilities. Thus, although we offer FREE shipping within the Continental United States, this fee helps to defer the product cost and freight charges. Furthermore, if a cancellation is necessary for cases in which we are not notified within the 2 hour window from the time of your order placement, this will be subject to a 35% cancellation fee.

If you do any of the following, it will be treated as an unauthorized cancellation of your order, subject to a cancellation fee of 35% of your order plus actual shipping charges: 1) Refuse the shipment of your lights because at the time of delivery you see the product and decide it is no longer what you want or 2) Refuse delivery because the product arrives damaged and/or defective (please see proper procedure under our section titled "delivery") or 3) Refuse or return any product due to such variation in product as wood grain or glass color or 4) Return the merchandise to the sender without prior authorization.

All products (unless noted on our site) are sold with the full manufacturer's warranty. All previously approved returned merchandise must be in "as-new" condition, uninstalled, and in its original packaging with all warranty cards, manuals and accessories. Any discrepancies or damages in returned merchandise could result in delay or partial forfeiture of your credit. Please be sure to contact us with tracking information for the returned goods. Once the manufacturer receives this merchandise back, they will inspect the merchandise and begin processing the credit. Please allow 3-5 weeks for credit processing.

Shipping Methods

We believe the best method of delivering lighting to our customers is to ship products directly from our manufacturers and suppliers to you. This system significantly reduces costs and expenses by removing the intermediate distribution layers. We transfer these savings on to you by offering you excellent pricing. If your order contains more than one item with a different name, it is possible that the merchandise will be coming from different suppliers and manufacturers, as well as on different days because they ship from different parts of the country.

Lead-times quoted on the site are based on estimates from our manufacturers. Although we work with our vendors to ensure the timeliest method of delivery, and the accurate portrayal of lead times, GREENCulture, Inc. reserves the right to make adjustments to lead times due to changing market conditions, product discontinuations, and manufacturer delays that were not predictable. GREENCulture, Inc. cannot be held responsible for delivery delays beyond estimated lead times as represented on the site.

Shipping on all of our lighting orders are FREE within the Continental United States. If you are shipping to Canada, Hawaii, or Alaska and would like to know any shipping fees prior to placing an order, we ask that you call us for an exact shipping quote. In addition, all shipments to Canada WILL NOT include any tariffs, duties or custom house brokerage charges and the responsibility for paying these charges will be the customer making the purchase.

Individually unique items

Several items on our site are made with hand blown glass, some even by mouth, so as a result each piece is unique and may vary slightly from one another. While the image on our site will be exceedingly similar to that of the finished product, slight variations might be found. The color of the glass will have the same primary colors, however the color pattern you receive might differ from that seen on the website, as the glass is hand blown and it is nearly impossible to replicate the same design twice. You agree that GREENCulture, Inc. will not be held responsible for such variations in color and/or glass pattern as that seen on the website due to the fixtures differing from one another. The beauty of hand blown glass is that no one in the world will have the same exact glass as you, it is an artistic piece. Furthermore, if glass patterns on the outside of glass shades differ from that as represented on the website, GREENCulture, Inc. will not be held accountable.

Many items on our website come in produced batches. It is for this reason, that if you purchase more than one of the same fixture, it is entirely possible that one or more fixture will be a slightly different color, as it might not have come from the same batch. GREENCulture, Inc. works extremely closely with its vendors to minimize this from happening and if you purchase more than one of the same fixture, you will receive all of them in the very close finishes. You agree that GREENCulture, Inc. will not be held accountable for such variations in color as that seen on the website.

GREENCulture, Inc. reserves the right at any time to modify, alter or update these policies, and the consumer agrees to be bound by such modifications, alterations or updates. However, if you have received confirmation of your order and changes have been made to policies in the meantime, your order will not be affected by any of the changes to our policies. In addition, GREENCulture, Inc. reserves the right to make adjustments or corrections to product information due to errors, changing market conditions, discontinuation of a product or typographical or photographic errors. GREENCulture reserves the right to refuse to process orders shipped to any address or placed through any credit card number at the sole and complete discretion of GREENCulture. Occasionally, there may be information on our website that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). GREENCulture will not be liable or responsible for any such inaccuracies, errors, changes or updates. GREENCulture reservest the right to change any price at which we offer goods or services and to correct any errors in the pricing contained on our website. We shall have no liability for any such changes or errors and are not bound to fulfill orders at old or erroneous prices. GREENCulture has attempted to accurately depict the products offered on our website. However, because the depiction of a product is dependent on your computer monitor, GREENCulture cannot guarantee that such depiction will be accurate. The products also may appear larger or smaller than their actual size depending on your monitor. Actual colors of products may also differ depending upon your monitor and GREENCulture is not responsible if the actual product color does not match the color on your monitor.
